MAP

NYC.gov has a map which shows the location of all the POPS in New York City. It looks interactive, clickable, tooltip - it is not.

A man named Jerold Kayden created the APOPS website to map all of the POPS in the city.

The APOPS map is interactive, allows people to comment on each site, but is not updated. I initially wanted to update the website, but found that wasn't what interested me about the POPS.

Columbia GSAPP had already spatialised and visualised the POPS in a very stylistic way:

and Gibson Chu had written about and visualised most of the information available on the NYC.gov website. I decided to visit as many POPS as I could, find out what it was that I wanted to visualise.
